Meet the sRI Team ...
Ryan Ginand

Grew up and trained exclusively in New England, Ryan's roots start with the Boston Jr. Bruins of the Eastern Junior Hockey League. During his time with the Bruins, Ryan led the team to the EJHL Championship in 2004. After being recruited by several colleges, Ryan decided to stay local playing for the Northeastern Huskies in Hockey East. Ryan played in 4 Beanpot tournaments, playing Boston University for the championship his senior year. Ryan concluded his college career by leading the Huskies to a No.4 ranking in the country and leading the team in goals. Based on this performance, was voted to the Hockey East All-Star team. Ryan's professional experience includes both International and North American Hockey. His career started with the Herning Blue Fox in the Danish Elite Hockey League and is currently playing for the New Jersey Devils's organization in Trenton.

Throughout Ryan's career, he has worked for several Elite Hockey camps working with youth Hockey players teaching both on-ice and off ice-drills. He enjoys teaching individual skills and passing on his knowledge to enthusiastic youth players.

Jon Biliouris

Born and raised in Rhode Island, Jon has gone through what many local players are experiencing now in their attempt to climb the ranks of the state's youth hockey programs. In the 03-04 season he decided to skate for the Connecticut Junior B Whalers of the Interstate Junior Hockey League. in over 70 games he was able to reach the league championship series as well as play against some of the nations top young junior players at the USA Hockey Junior B National Championship Tournament. The next season in 04-05 Jon would try to increase his level of play in the Junior A Eastern Junior Hockey League while skating for the Baystate Breakers. After a year of maturing and looking at a number of schools, he decided to attend and play at the University of Rhode Island which competes at the ACHA Division 1 level. From the fall of 2005 through 2009 Jon exceled on the ice earning multiple career all-star and all-tournament team selections,a 2006 ACHA Division 1 National Championship and being named a team captain in his senior season.

Two major highlights of his career after winning Nationals included being chosen to represent the United States in 2007(Torino,Italy) and 2009(Harbin,China) at the Winter World University Games. As a member of the United States University Select Team he was able to put all of his hard work to a test against a wide variety of pro and university talent throughout the world, and help to lead the team in 2009 as an assistant captain. Throughout the years Jon has experienced a wide array of hockey levels and many different training techniques that propelled him to compete at his highest level possible. He has shared his knowledge and training techniques with young players at a number of different hockey camps including The Skater's Edge, Robby Glantz Power Skating and through his own private lessons with SRI Hockey Conditioning. Ben Herring

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Ben has been involved in hockey for the majority of his life. Starting in the 03-04 season he was chosen to play for the Midget AAA Pittsburgh Hornets of the MWEHL, a top midget league where he competed against the best talent in the country. After a short stint with the Helena Bighorns in the Junior A NAHL, Ben decided on attending the ACHA Division 1 University of Rhode Island. During his college career he earned all-league selections, national all-star selections and won an ACHA Division 1 National Championship in 2006. Through his years of playing, Ben has experienced many high levels of hockey and has acquired many on and off ice training techniques that allow him to teach and play at a high level. He has used knowledge to coach for Quaker Valley High School and Team Pittsburgh AAA hockey, all teams run by well-respected coach Kevin Quinn.
